Review of Airport Charges 2022
For more than 25 years, we have produced this annual report to help airport management teams, investors, finance sector analysts, and airlines gain a better understanding of how airports worldwide stack up in terms of relative operational and financial efficiency. The report compares the sum of aeronautical arrival and departure charges at 50 of the world's busiest airports for a sample of eight aircraft that are most predominant in airline fleets. The report also provides an extensive historical background of aeronautical charging systems and methods of airport price regulation. In addition to being a valuable benchmarking resource, the report is frequently used to inform pricing discussions between airports, regulators, and airline users.

Climate Adaptation
In this issue, we鈥檙e shining a light on adaptation, with Article 7 of the Paris Agreement defining the global goal of enhancing adaptive capacity and resilience and reducing vulnerability with a view to contributing to sustainable development. While significant actions are underway to limit global warming through carbon reduction measures, countries, cities, communities and businesses also need to accelerate their efforts to adapt to climate change impacts that are already occurring, as well as prepare for future climate change scenarios.
