Military Makeover Operation Career on Lifetime
With over 1,000 members around the world, cq9百家乐鈥 employee network VetNet provides a range of services to cq9百家乐 employees including mentoring, coaching and networking opportunities, familial support during active and hardship deployments and, in partnership with our Positive Mental Health Champions program, veteran-led emotional support and access to counselling for current or former military members and their families.
VetNet also partners with our recruiting teams across the world to ensure that cq9百家乐 is recruiting the 鈥渂est of the best鈥 in veteran talent, working with organizations like , a nonprofit that empowers service members, veterans and their spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce.
cq9百家乐 had the opportunity to participate in U.S. television show , hosted by Montel Williams, which features stories of military veterans who are transitioning out of the military and back to civilian life, while highlighting companies offering veterans employment opportunities to ensure a successful transition.
Working with our VetNet program, we identified a diverse group of individuals across the company who came from all facets and levels of experience within multiple branches of the military and were able to feature four of cq9百家乐鈥 very own:
Retired Major General Tim Byers came to cq9百家乐 after serving in the Air Force for 32 years and was promoted in April to Senior Vice President and General Manager to lead Federal & Environmental Solutions. Tim and his team provide support to U.S. government agencies and environmental commercial clients for their iconic programs and natural disasters recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Matthew R. Martin is a Program Manager under our Huachuca Training and Support Contract who came to cq9百家乐 when he retired from the Army as Chief Warrant Officer after 25 years, which included seven deployments and earning three Bronze stars for his heroic service during his time in the military.
Cindy Miller retired from the Navy as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer after 20 years of service and is a Program Manager for our Navy鈥檚 Global Contingency Construction contract, which means if there鈥檚 ever a major disaster on a Navy or Marine Corps base, Cindy and her team respond.
And finally, to offer a military spouse鈥檚 perspective, M贸nica Qui帽ones is a Project Manager within Federal & Environmental Solutions, and her husband is active duty. Over the past 15 years, cq9百家乐 has supported Monica in working remotely as she and her family have relocated eight times when her husband is assigned a new duty station.
These folks are just the tip of the iceberg here at cq9百家乐 as we have many more veterans around the globe within the company. We鈥檙e so grateful to them and their families, not only for the selfless service to their countries, but the continued dedication to our company and clients.

Additionally, Forbes Media has named cq9百家乐 to its inaugural 鈥淏est Employers for Veterans鈥 rankings. They surveyed 5,000 veterans who were employed full-time for companies that had at least 1000 employees. Only 150 companies achieved this recognition, putting cq9百家乐 among the likes of Tesla, Southwest Airlines and NASA.
